IGOTIT™ was formed as a corporation to fascilitate the development of new products in the field of medicine and particularly in Orthopaedics.  It was formed by Dr Terry Clyburn who is an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Houston Texas.  Dr. Clyburn developed the first external fixator for Colles fractures of the wrist which allowed for motion of the wrist while the fixator was in place. This device was sold internationally by Zimmer Inc. of Warsaw, Indiana for 14 years.

Dr. Clyburn holds multiple patents for this and other devices used in the treatment of wrist fractures. IGOTIT™ currently holds licenses to several of Dr. Clyburn's developments including the HIP-VISE™ Table and the Suction Cement Applicator.

The HIP-VISE™ Table is patented and is currently in use in major centers in the United States and Puerto Rico.  It is the only hip positioning table used for patient positioning for total hip arthroplasty which integrates an arm board and a built in table.  Dr. Clyburn designed this device to correct for the limitations of other such devices used in orthopaedics.

The Suction Cement Applicator is patented and FDA approved for use in cemented hip arthroplasty. It is the only such device in existance.  It is shown to improve the interface between bone and cement as it removes fluid and other debris during the cement application process.

IGOTIT™ functions primarily to develop these new and innovative products to the point that they are patented, FDA approved and evaluated in multiple centers.  Although we have limited manufacturing and distribution capability, we prefer to liscense our products once fully developed.  This currently is the case with the HIP-VISE™ Table and the SUCTION CEMENT APPLICATOR. We do have other products in development including the HIP SAFE GARDENING CART.  This device allows patients who have had hip replacement to safely get down on their knees and work in the garden.
